Plugins for Opera

Java

For ER5 devices, users may install a Java 1.1.4 compliant JVM which will allow some applets to be run from within Opera. The plugin is supplied on the CD-ROM that accompanies the machine, and requires around 3MB of disk space and a further 2MB to start applets.

Unfortunately this plugin is of limited use as many applets require support for Java 1.2 or above. Those applets which do work often run quite sluggishly.
